The Customer and The Case
Tibica is a cloud-based platform designed for startups, enterprises, and software companies. Built entirely on AWS, Tibica's mission is to simplify cloud infrastructure setup while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
The Vision
Tibica approached Perfsys with a clear goal: make cloud interaction intuitive, user-friendly, and automated. They wanted to build flagship products, including a Git system on AWS CodeCommit and a git-based CMS using Amazon S3 and CloudFront — and they needed an architecture that could address the most common cloud pain points: complex setups, ownership confusion, security concerns, and scalability limits.
The Implementation
Perfsys designed and delivered the platform in stages. The core challenge was building an infrastructure that could integrate with any AWS account and provision isolated workspaces for each client, whether in a shared multi-tenant environment or a dedicated setup.
Key components delivered:
- Application installer and manager
- Marketplace home and app launcher (t.Home)
- Environment monitoring service
- Access management application (t.Users)
- Cloud applications: t.Git and t.Site
Architecture
Tibica needed cost-efficiency from day one, with a smaller customer base in the early stage. Serverless architecture was the right fit: it scales automatically with demand, eliminates idle infrastructure costs, and integrates cleanly with microservices.
Infrastructure
The platform is built around a centralized installer application that manages all client accounts and their applications. Each client and application deploys as a separate AWS CloudFormation stack, in either Tibica's managed multi-tenant environment or a dedicated client AWS account. The installer handles updates and notifies clients automatically.
Every AWS environment includes a monitoring application for governance, performance checks, and cross-account communication.
Clients access the platform through t.Home, the marketplace application where they can view, install, update, or remove applications. t.Home connects directly to t.Users, the access management layer built on Amazon Cognito, which handles authentication and authorization across the entire platform.

Key Applications
t.Git
t.Git extends AWS CodeCommit with a more intuitive interface and developer-friendly features:
- Git-based workflow for source code management
- Easy collaboration and source control
- Secure and scalable by default
- Native integration with other AWS services
t.Site

t.Site is a headless, git-based CMS that lets users build and publish websites by committing files to a Git repository. Key features include:
- Over 20 deployment-ready templates
- Static website uploads or build scripts at deployment
- Draft and public versions for preview
- Custom domain attachment
- Version control via t.Git integration

AWS Services Used
The Tibica ecosystem leverages numerous AWS services:

- AWS Lambda
- AWS Step Functions
- Amazon API Gateway
- Amazon EventBridge
- Amazon SQS
File, Media and Data Storage:
- Amazon DynamoDB
- Amazon S3

Conclusion
Building a marketplace on top of AWS requires more than picking the right services. It requires an architecture that can isolate clients cleanly, deploy consistently across environments, and stay cost-efficient while the customer base is still growing. That's what Perfsys delivered for Tibica.
